More control over when the link picker appears, plus an easier way to check for updates.

New features

• Skip the picker for browser-only links. Choose a browser in Settings to open links automatically when no installed specialized app supports them.
• Show the picker for your next link. Use the menu bar action or a configurable global keyboard shortcut to show the picker once, including when automatic opening is enabled.
• Check for updates in Settings. Check whether a newer version is available and open its release page in your chosen browser to download it.

Bug fixes

• More usable Settings. Settings opens taller and keeps a usable minimum size across all panes.
• Clearer shortcut feedback. Shortcut errors now appear in a popover beside the affected setting.

Requirements: macOS 26 or newer on Apple Silicon.

Install or update: Download the DMG below, quit Narly and replace Narly in Applications.

This release is not Apple-notarized. If macOS blocks it, use Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Narly’s first public release. A small, native macOS app that lets you choose where each link opens.
